Okay, this is getting downright cruel! After an hot 11 mile hike along the Pallisades, six of the Troop,s mightiest took to the foot to hike Harriman State park again. This time, some genius decided we would start from Camp Bullowa, enter Harriman and hike to THe Timp, climb it, descent and then climb and camp at West Mt. Shelter.
This was a grueling hike, with over 2000 total feet of climbing. THis webmaster was totally impressed by the accomplishment of Mike F., Chris F., Alex G., Nick. P., Philip K., and Joe M. The benifit of this hike was the beautiful views of the Hudson River enjoyed from the summits of both climbs.
Rest up well boys, Mr G. has already found a hike for the spring:
Lemon Squeezer!
