The weekend of Jan. 31 - Feb 2nd marked the annual trip to Alpine Scout Camp in Alpine, N.J. On this trio, we traditionally roast a "garbage can turkey" in celebration of the troops anniversary. This year's event went off without a hitch (how are you feeling, Jason). Scout skills practiced in the morning were orienteering on te camp's one mile compass course. This year marked the return of snow (lacking last year) making the snowball fight at the fort a bit easier to have. The turkey arrived on time with much fanfare, and was dispatched with great efficiency.
Congratulations to scouts Joe P., and Nigel N. who went on their first overnight with the troop!
